So a little update on our very busy lives. Chad and I are loving married life and we cherish every moment we get to spend together, since they are seemingly few and far between right now. The wedding day was a whirlwind of activity and I wish I could remember more, but it all went by so fast.
We spent our honeymoon in Anahiem. We spent most of our days at Disneyland, taking pictures and eating the tastiest corndogs. Ok I ate the tasty corndogs, Chad does not share my love. We had a chance to ride in the Lilly Belle Car on the railroad. I guess the car isn't open to the public and you have to make special arrangements to ride it, but one
of the conductors saw our "just married" pins and invited us in. They gave us a tour of the car, took tons of pictures for us and played the useless information game well we took the tour around Disneyland. I thought Chad had a lot of crazy off the wall information about Disneyland, but he couldn't even keep up with these guys. It was a great adventure and one of our favorite parts of the trip.
We took one night to go out and see the medieval times dinner theater. It was a blast. I can't say I loved the food, but the show was great. We got to cheer for the green knight. He's the bad guy. Woohoo. So while everyone else was booing, we were cheering him on. Sadly he didn't win, but can you expect, he is the bad guy. I loved all the horsemanship and the swordfighting. It was so exciting to watch. I'm really glad that Chad brought up the idea. Oh and don't worry, we went back to the room afterwards and I ate up on leftover pizza from the night before.
We were also lucky enough to go see the best musical ever. Wicked. This was Chad's first time (my third) seeing it. We had a blast and Chad liked it so much that he wants to go see it again when it comes to Arizona next year. We can't wait!!!
Well back to real life. Chad is back to work and I think he's already ready for another vacation.
I started a new job working in the special ed classrooms at one of the elementary schools. It's a ton of work, but totally worth it. The kids are all so sweet and I never get tired of the things they say. The other day, one of the girls asked me if I was married and if I had kids. I told her I was married, but we didn't have any kids yet. I told her we had a dog and that was enough for us right now. She looked at me really serious and said, well you need to have kids, so the dog has someone to play with. It was just really cute.
I think that pretty much sums up life right now. We're working and spending as much time together as we can. What can I say, we're newlyweds, can you expect anything else?
Oh one more thing. I miss you too Claire... Don't worry we'll have more time to spend together really soon.
