shopping=love... WHO knew?

I just wanted to add a little post. Not about anything important, because, let's face it, chad and I are just boring people. But I just wanted to say, that I am loving this whole going out of business sale thing. I've needed to add to my closet for some time now, so in order to buy without spending money, I've taken up shopping at Mervyns. I find cute stuff and Chad only has to endure a couple of hours in one store and very little money out of his wallet. (I seemed to have forgotten mine on the last trip hehe) But for any of you who feel the need to shop for clothes, hit it up!!! I didn't buy the whole store out... YET.

Just a little thought...
"You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover's arms can only come later when you're sure they won't laugh if you trip." Jonathan Carroll

I thought I would share. ENJOY!!!

We're still alive

Hey everyone. I thought now would be a great time to update the blog. Chad and I are doing wonderful. Our house is finally starting to come together. This has been one of the most frustrating things for me. I for some reason, thought that it would take a couple of weeks to get the house situated. By situated, I only mean that We would be completely unpacked and everything would have its place; not that the big "projects" that I'm planning on doing to the house will be done. But anywho, we are finally down to the last couple of boxes of junk and we should have a place for everything in our house.
Other news... We finished our guest bedroom. I love it and as soon as I find where I've misplaced the camera, you guys can see it too. I just love the yellow walls. It's bright and sunny and I think it has a real calming effect. I think it's my favorite place in the house to be.
Chad came to the class Halloween party at work the other day. The kids from my class just love when he comes. Well the truth is, that they love when anyone comes in for a visit, but we won't tell Chad that (he feels special!). We listened to scary stories and ate homemade donuts, courtesy of my kitchen, drank cider, and danced the afternoon away. I can't tell you how much I love my job.
I also had the chance to go to Chad's work open house. It was really fun, they went all out. We ate cotton candy, talked to all of Chad's friends and I toured the place. Mostly, the open house just gave me a chance to harass Chad about his cubicle. He has more pictures of some pretty girl, than he has of me. haha Cecelia looks great hanging all over the walls.
I don't really know what else to say. We love you all and we hope that you are doing great. I'll try to keep this updated, but I feel like Chad and I are pretty boring people.
Oh one last thing. My cute quote from the kids at work. Here's the story. Becky took a day off work the other day, and I was talking to the lead teacher about it. One of the kids looked up from the paper she was coloring and said... "Miss Becky the lunch lady isn't here? Are we still gonna have lunch today?" She was so afraid that lunch was going to be cancelled because there wasn't anyone there to run the cash register. The little things the kids say, are the reasons I go to work everyday and love every minute of it.
