Just a little update. Trigger is doing fine. He had 5 teeth taken out. Chad thinks we need to rename him though. He says with all those teeth missing, he needs a redneck name. We're thinking Jim-bob. Any thoughts?

Our poor puppy

Well to say the least, the last week has been crazy. We came home from our Spring vacation (to Disneyland, no surprise there ;)...) and noticed that our "big" doggy wasn't eating very well. By Wednesday he wasn't really eating at all and his muzzle was looking a bit swollen. I finally got him into the vet today and he's becoming quite an expensive part of this family. So here's the rundown... He's missing a couple of teeth and needs a couple more taken out. He's got some bleeding into his eye. Pretty much what the vet says is he received some trauma to the head... So our baby is going in on Monday to have surgery. I guess we'll see how he does.
On a funnier note, our vets office has tinted windows all along the front of the office, and when we were walking by them, Trigger noticed his reflection in the window. He growled and lunged at the window, but when he saw the "other dog" lunging at him, he yelped and ran the other way. He's so cute...

My new hair!!!

A bit crazy I must admit, but I just couldn't pass up the chance. I have been growing my hair out for two years now in order to cut it all off and donate it to locks of love. Well the school did a locks of love day and come to find out my hair was finally long enough to do it. So I cut it all off and I figured while I still had the guts to do it, I went for a big change and dyed my hair too. I'm still not so sure about the color, but I'm not changing it anytime soon. Sorry about the bad picture quality, I've misplaced the camera, so I used the phone and uploaded them to the computer. So here they are.

Oh and sorry about the mess in the second picture. I've been cleaning out our closet and I have bags of clothes to go to salvation army. Maybe I'll get that done sometime next week.

Today at snack we had cheetos. I think they are one of the most disgusting foods in the entire world, but for some reason kids love them. Well anyways, one of the kids kept trying to wipe her hands on her shirt, so I told her "Stop wiping your hands on your shirt!!!" She then tried wiping them on her pants. "Stop wiping them on your pants!!!" She then leaned down and wiped them on her socks! :) I couldn't help but laugh at that one.

We got a special treat today from one of the teachers. She brought peeps in. (Also very gross, maybe even more disgusting than cheetos) Well I asked the kids if they wanted a peep and one of the kids looked at me and said... Miss Na-Na that's a marshmallow.

I love my job!

So today at work, we started doing the standardized testing on the computer with the kids. One of the question was; Frank is going fishing, at which place will you find him fishing? the answers showed pictures of the following...
A) A farm yard
B) A lake
C) A forest
One of the kids answered B... and then looked at the teacher all confused and said... "but I don't see Frank."

I love this job!!!!

Valentines day a little early this year. I couldn't wait!

So, I know that Valentines day is really just a way to make us spend money and feel fat after all the chocolate we eat, but I'm embracing it this year. Chad and I chose to get each other a little something. He bought me some cute little kissing monkeys, but I have to say, I think I won this one... Not that we were going against each other or anything... ;) The above picture is the end result of my wondering what I was going to get Chad. I wish I could take credit, but I'm pretty sure that Chad and I would be little stick people standing in front of a stick house if I was the artist. I have to say my sister did a pretty good job with this one. Thanks Lindsey!!!!! Well back to life now. Hope everyone is doing well. Loves ya all.

cute story

I just needed to type this story up before I forget it.
Today at work, we were coloring pictures and I asked one of the kids what color he was going to color the marshmallows in his picture. He picked a white crayon out and told me white. Well, as you and I both know, when you try to color with white crayon on white paper it doesn't show up. He looked at the crayon after coloring for a second, and shook it and said "This one is out of juice" and put it back in the container.
Hope you get as much of a laugh out of this one as I did.
